Motor

Cover for private and commercial vehicles, from statutory third party through to comprehensive.

Typically for
Private owners and any business running vehicles.

In practice

Third party cover is compulsory in Zambia; comprehensive is not. The gap between them is the whole value of your own vehicle, which is why the decision is really about whether you could replace it out of pocket.

For fleets, the questions that move the premium are driver vetting, whether vehicles are tracked, and where they are kept overnight — all things a broker can put in front of an underwriter as an argument for better terms.

What it covers

2 covers

Comprehensive Cover (Private & Commercial)
Damage to your own vehicle as well as your liability to others, including fire and theft.
Third Party Cover
The statutory minimum — injury to others and damage to their property, but nothing toward your own vehicle.

Cover names are those used in the Zambian market; the exact scope of any policy depends on its wording and endorsements. We will set out what a quotation does and does not include before you bind it.
